Our second event based on the EMOM model which originated in Manchester in 2017, which has since spread across the UK and other countries.

The concept is simple – the event provides a meeting and performance space for electronic musicians of all styles and persuasions.

Electronic Music Open Mic Series
The second Kitchener EMOM is scheduled for January 28th, 2024 at the AOK pub in downtown Kitchener, 6-10 pm.
This is an ALL AGES event!
Scheduled Performers (so far!)
The goal of the TCSS is to support the creative exploration of music, sound and technology.
Each performer participating in the EMOM is given about 15-20 minutes to perform their set and anyone who wishes to take part is welcome. The only requirement is that you contact us in advance and send us a few samples of your work. Any genre of electronic music is welcome – from ambient soundscapes to hard industrial techno and everything in between. The only stipulation is that the primary sound sources should be electronic (ie. no acoustic instruments unless they are used as triggers or sampling sources).
The TCSC is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to explore musical synthesis and we welcome everyone who is interested, regardless of their level of expertise. Indeed, if you are curious about synthesizers, this is the place to start! You don’t need to perform. Just come and enjoy the music and ambience.
Tickets are only $5 with all the proceeds going to cover the cost of the event. Students are free and you can also pay by donation.
Tickets are also available at the door.
